Coronavirus Notice

At Swinton Dental Practice we take the health and safety of our patients and staff very seriously and it has always been our number one priority during this pandemic.

Throughout the pandemic we have been open and available for help and advice in varying capacities. Swinton Dental Practice is currently OPEN for all routine, urgent and emergency care.

There are no restrictions with regards to medical treatment and you are actively encouraged to keep your appointments. At Swinton Dental we have all the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and will continue to follow our high standards in cross infection control. If you are worried about your attendance please contact us to discuss your concerns and we can always postpone your appointment to a later date.

We ask all of our patients, unless medically exempt, to wear a face mask at all times whilst inside the dental practice and only remove your mask at the request of the dental professional. As you enter the building you will need to use the alcohol disinfectant rub provided to disinfectant your hands.

Please do not be concerned as we continue to maintain high standards of cross infection control.

Please DO NOT attend the practice in person without contacting our reception team first. ALL appointments and queries will be dealt with over the phone or email ONLY.

If you think you need an appointment, contact the practice and we will be able to provide advice and arrange for treatment if necessary. DO NOT contact a GP, as they will not be able to offer urgent or emergency dental care.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have a dental emergency but have a change in taste/smell, a continuous or new cough, high temperature or are living in a household with anyone with coronavirus symptoms, please stay at home and contact NHS 111 for emergency help and advice.

If you have trauma, haemorrhage, swelling or pain not controlled by pain relief, please contact the practice on 01709 583 166 and we will be happy to assist.
